Marianne Lepinoit and Eric Lankinen are available for board directorships, governance advisory, investment committee mandates, and strategic advisory engagements. Their work together spans over fifteen years of shared executive experience at the most senior levels of finance and operations. 

Board Directorships and Governance

Marianne brings to boards a CPA's financial rigour, a CFO's transactional experience, and a board chair's governance perspective. She currently chairs the board of Alliance Francaise de Montreal and chairs the Finance and Audit Committee of Generate Canada. She is completing her ICD.D designation. Eric brings to boards the operational judgment of someone who has built and scaled organizations through multiple ownership transitions, and who has presented to and managed boards as both COO and CEO.

Investment Committees and Financial Oversight

Both have served in roles requiring direct accountability to institutional investors, boards, and parent company finance functions. Marianne has led multiple financing processes including a $16 million Series B for a publicly traded company, a $112 million acquisition due diligence at NDR, and a $75 million asset divestiture at Pollock. Eric has directed operational budgets of up to $50 million and managed the financial implications of a major post-acquisition integration.

Strategic Advisory to Founders and Leadership Teams

hexabconsulting was founded specifically to bring senior executive judgment to founders and leadership teams who are navigating significant transitions. Eric has worked with entrepreneurs through Futurpreneur Canada and through hexabconsulting mandates since 2014. Marianne has coached EMBA students at McGill and HEC Montreal and has judged startup competitions across Quebec for over a decade. The advisory they offer is grounded in having made the difficult decisions themselves, not in frameworks or methodologies.

Organizational Transition and Integration

Eric led the post-acquisition integration of Ned Davis Research as CEO. Marianne led the finance integration as CFO of both BCA and NDR simultaneously. Together they have direct experience of what happens when an acquisition closes and the real work begins: restructuring, culture, systems, talent, and the inevitable gap between the deal thesis and the operational reality.
